The new park at the former sewage treatment plant is located between the Nordpark and the racecourse and is therefore part of the green belt of parks that runs north of the city center directly along the course of the Gera river.

An oasis of well-being and relaxation with everything your heart desires was created here on the occasion of the 2021 Federal Horticultural Show. The terraced sunbathing areas offer plenty of space and a wonderful view. Below the meadow is direct access to the riverbank and above it is an activity strip consisting of a playground for small children, a beach volleyball court, a panoramic swing and a picnic and barbecue area.
