Kleinbrembach

Kleinbrembach is the westernmost village of the rural community. From here, the cycle path starts along the vineyards in the direction of Großbrembach. However, you will find vines here in vain. Again and again winegrowers had to register bad harvests and so the grain and sugar beet cultivation enjoyed more and more popularity. At the beginning of the 20th century, a phylloxera infestation sealed the change. Nowadays the vineyards are characterized by steppe meadows with scattered trees and bushes. The pastures and trees on the right side of the cycle path appear lush and green in contrast to the steppe meadows.

But not only the surroundings, but also the village itself offers attractions. Thanks to subsidies, the former rectory has been saved from decay, renovated and transformed into a Wohlklanghaus in the last 10 years. In the blue building right next to the church, the basic idea of listening and sensitizing has been taken up and implemented with various acoustic methods. The foundation stone for the idea was laid by the church organ. The exhibition is so special not only because of the acoustics, but also because of the numerous old exhibits. Some generation might feel childhood memories and others discover a completely new world.
