The hospital church of St. Michael, also known as St. Michael's Church, is located in the Pfafferode district of Mühlhausen. It is used for services by both denominations, i.e. ecumenically. The church is integrated into the so-called care village on the grounds of the Ecumenical Hainich Clinic. Its interior is relatively simple. The ecumenical church was solemnly consecrated on September 9, 1917. The church is open to guests and patients of the clinic for personal devotions. Protestant and Catholic services are held alternately in the church.
