Kreuzberg Monastery is a historical site in the Rhön with a centuries-old tradition and a popular destination for hikers and cyclists. There is a monastery tavern, monastery guesthouse, monastery store and pilgrimage church. At the same time, Kreuzberg Monastery offers a panoramic view of the Franconian countryside, the Hessian Rhön, the Thuringian Forest and the Spessart.

The 928 m high Kreuzberg, also known as the „Holy Mountain of the Franks“, is a place of pilgrimage with a centuries-old tradition. The construction of the Franciscan monastery began here in 1677 and was completed in 1692. The monastery has had its own brewery since 1731. The Kreuzberg beer and Franconian dishes can be enjoyed in the Monastery tavern enjoy. But there is also a Monastery boarding house, which serves as excellent accommodation during a vacation in the Rhön.
