Not far from the source of the Unstrut and directly on the traditional Kanonenbahnradweg and Unstrutradweg cycle paths, the Kerbsche Berg rises between the villages of Dingelstädt and Kefferhausen. Surrounded by lush trees, the monastery church and monastery building, built in the neo-Romanesque style, are a real gem. The Way of the Cross, accompanied by tufa grottos, was only renewed in 2019. The Way of the Cross is surrounded by beautiful nature. The Kerbsche Berg is still a popular place of pilgrimage. Many women from many parts of the country meet here once a year for a joint women's pilgrimage. But pilgrims whose stage of the Loccum-Volkenroda pilgrimage route leads from Heiligenstadt via Dingelstädt to Mühlhausen also like to stop here to rest and pause. The family center housed in the monastery building offers many opportunities for families to enjoy free time together in the context of family services, courses and other activities.
