The Johann Sebastian Bach District Music School is a public educational institution for children, young people and adults.

The school is run by the Unstrut-Hainich district.

Its tasks are the training of young musicians for amateur and amateur music-making, the identification and promotion of talented musicians and the possible preparation for professional studies.
