The crucifixion group, the landmark of the Kreuzberg, is located below the summit. It can be reached via the Way of the Cross with 13 chapels (1710) or a long, steep staircase from the Kreuzberg monastery. The three Golgota crosses form the 12th station of the Way of the Cross, which is modeled on the Way of the Cross in Jerusalem. From here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Rhön mountains.
