Kronbiegelpark is one of three parks in downtown Sömmerda. It borders the historic city wall to the south and St. Francis Church to the west. In the north of the park is the bus station with various local transport connections.

The park was once part of the garden belonging to the house of the Kronbiegel-Collenbusch family. The construction of the house began in 1872 and has been repeatedly expanded over the decades. The garden was created around the same time. In its time as a private park, you could already find tall trees, flowers as well as a water feature.

Today, among other things, a green classroom is located here. This was already created in 1990 and informs about the native flora and fauna.
