Artificial ruin Weimar
Artificial ruin Weimar
It should be romantic and reminiscent of the ancestors. It was a fashion of the time to create artificial ruins. Carl August and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe also succumbed to this temptation: with a few rudiments of the burned-down city castle and coats of arms of their ancestors, the bullet trap wall of the Weimar gun guild became the remains of a medieval castle. The design also includes a pointed archway and a spherical sundial. The impression seems to be perfectly done: The majority of Weimar's guests consider the ruins of the Temple Lord's House opposite to be created.
