The Kunsthalle Arnstadt was established in 2002 in a production room of the ARTAS flashlight factory and sees itself as an exhibition and cultural venue. It has an exhibition space of over 350 square meters. Five group and solo exhibitions are held here each year, which are opened with live music by the in-house band "Experium". An art education tour can be booked for each exhibition.

There are also a number of events in the fields of theater, science and art. Vacation courses and workshops for children and adults have also been offered since 2021.

All events are described in detail in an annual flyer and on the website. The Kunsthalle can be booked for events and private parties. The Kunstverein Arnstadt e.V. is the operator of the Kunsthalle.
