The historical Lauterer Wirtshaus was first mentioned in 1519 as a post inn on the trade route to Rennsteig. Today, guests from near and far are welcomed in the traditional, lovingly maintained walls with exquisite Thuringian game and fish specialties pampered, of course served with original Thuringian dumplings.
