The view from the Leipziger Turm (801 m above sea level) over the surrounding elevations of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, the Fichtel Mountains and the Franconian Forest is probably one of the most impressive experiences. More than 100 valleys can be overlooked and such striking peaks as Fichtelberg, Auersberg, Keilberg, Ochsenkopf and Schneeberg appear on the horizon. With good visibility, the view stretches 130 km. The total height of the Leipzig tower is 17.5 m, its top platform is 14 m high. A small Tower restaurant invites you to linger.
