Löbschütz is the district of the town of Kahla in the Saale-Holzland district, located east of the Saale River. The place was first mentioned in documents at the end of the 13th century. However, people settled the area much earlier. More than 10,000 archaeological finds around Kahla and Löbschütz testify to the popularity and advantages of the Middle Saale Valley. As a climatically particularly favored area of Germany, it attracts with a mild spring, a hot summer, a long and warm autumn and a mild winter.

So it is ideal to be on the road a lot! The towering high above the Saale Leutenburg is within sight of Löbschütz and easily doable as a day trip. Exciting and rewarding are the medieval Jade plant Rieseneck with underground stalk and the unusual castle Duke's Chair of the Dukes of Saxony/Altenburg in the Kleineutersdorf forest. The Kahla porcelain city has an old town center worth seeing with an almost completely preserved town wall and lovingly restored farmhouses.
