Close to the Vital Park in Heiligenstadt, the fairytale park is an attractive leisure destination for children and adults alike, where many fairytales are depicted. Various fairy tale characters, a fairy tale castle and other leisure activities (water treading pool, sandpit and play equipment) are depicted on the spacious park grounds covering an area of 2,600 square meters. Rapunzel, Puss in Boots, the Hare and the Hedgehog, the Frog King and many other characters from the world of fairy tales await little fairy tale lovers. Young visitors can watch the fairy tale characters at work and read fairy tales. The water treading pool and a small graduation house invite children and adults to relax. In summer, fairy tales are told in the park's castle on four Sundays and the big fairy tale park festival takes place on the first Sunday in July.
