Milo Barus and his wife entertained their guests in the Meuschkensmühle from 1956. In 1960, he had a Swiss-style house built opposite the mill. It became known as Milo's Waldhaus. Coming from Weißenborn, it is located directly at the entrance to the Mühltal. It is the only building in the Mühltal that was built exclusively for residential purposes. The exceptional quality of the materials used for the construction gives an idea of Milo Baru's high social status in the former GDR.
Today, Milo's Waldhaus is home to an experience kitchen.
