The only miniature park in Thuringia is located in a side valley of Ruhla, in the immediate vicinity of the Rennsteig. Covering an area of 18,000 square meters, „mini-a-thür“ displays the most important cultural and historical buildings in Thuringia as detailed models.

The models appear almost real thanks to the exact reproduction of the originals down to the last roof tile and lovingly designed everyday scenes. Each model is accompanied by a display board with information about the original.

For younger guests, the miniature park has an adventure playground, a model boat facility, a petting zoo and the adventure toboggan run next door.
