A walk from Morgentor to Blumenkorbfelsen is a special experience, especially at dawn. The Morgentor is a narrow passage between two rocks. When this backdrop is illuminated by the rising sun, the name of the gate becomes clear. Then there is an incomparable atmosphere here in the landscape garden. The view from the Morgentorf rock is wonderful at any time of day. In the foreground are the ruins of Liebenstein Castle and the town of Bad Liebenstein. On the horizon, you can see the Dolmar, which lies to the north of Meiningen. To the southwest, you can see the highest elevations in the Rhön: the Pless, the Bayer, the Dietrichsberg and the Öchsen.
