On 01.01.2021, the former Portenschmiede campsite was taken over by 2 families from Wilhelmsdorf and is now the "Portenschmiede Nature Recreation Area".

The natural recreation area is characterized by its immediate location on the Hohenwartestaussee. The perfect place for camping, whether in a tent or caravan. Bungalows are also available to rent in various sizes, locations and facilities.
