The new „Rhön Nature Experience Center“ is being built in the Bavarian part of the UNESCO Rhön Biosphere Reserve with locations in Hammelburg and at the Klaushof Wildlife Park near Bad Kissingen. The NEZ offers a wide range of mobile activities for school classes and extracurricular groups. 

An interactive exhibition in Hammelburg with activity areas that invite visitors to get involved will focus on the social and economic dimensions of sustainability. After all, sustainability is not just about protecting nature and the environment, but also about shaping our society for the future. A classic theme of the biosphere reserve, for which new and creative solutions are being sought here. 

The diverse nature of the Rhön is the focus of the educational work tailored to children and families at the new center at Klaushof near Bad Kissingen. A new building with a direct connection to the municipal wildlife park is planned here. The focus of the exhibition and the experience-oriented educational offers at this location are native wild and farm animals, as well as experiencing nature in the forest.
