NatureArtViews in Frauenwald

The figures lie along the Panorama ring Frauenwald. The sculptures are intended to evoke the beauty of and fascination with nature and man himself and to question the duality between the two.

Movement - On the Promende

A striding figure can be seen here, appearing to move at a relaxed pace across the paved surface. A climbing plant grows up from her rear heel, with which she is fused and which prevents her from moving. At around 2 meters tall, the sculpture is somewhat larger than life.

Rest - Big giant head

The figure stands in a slight contrapposto and adopts a pose at rest. Even the hustle and bustle of the wild bees that inhabit her torso and limbs does not disturb her. The steel net resembles the structure of honeycombs or cells. Inside there are perforated oak wood elements that make colonization by wild bees possible.

Grounding - Small giant head

The walker or hiker will walk towards this figure for a long time, which, at around 3.5 meters tall, will be clearly visible on the horizon. It stands in a quadrupedal position, appearing to push itself away from the ground and yet at the same time growing together with it. Shrubbery will take over and cover it with greenery. Its back will take on the shape of the mountain landscape.
