In the small community of Friedrichshöhe, visitors are introduced to the aims of the Thuringian Forest Nature Park idea. The development of the cultural landscape is presented in a permanent exhibition. Visitors are made aware of the need to protect nature and the associated development of the recreational value of the landscape.
