In addition to maps, route guides and the Internet, our 14 nature park information centers are available directly along the nature park route as personal contacts of the Thuringian Forest Nature Park for your questions on site. Here you will receive competent and friendly advice. You will receive exclusive information about the nature park route and the entire Thuringian Forest as well as accommodation and restaurants.

The nature park information centers show you the natural and cultural-historical features of the area around the center. Special route offers such as hikes and bike tours, but also guided tours and lectures or even „backpack schools“ invite you to get out and linger. In addition, the NIZs provide interesting information and insider tips on specific topics and facets of the nature park route.
