Naumburg is one of the most beautiful cities in Central Germany. The 1000-year-old cathedral city in the center of Saale-Unstrut has many historical treasures to offer. First and foremost, the famous founder figure Uta in Naumburg Cathedral, the most important building from the High Middle Ages. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2018.

The "Wilde Zicke" (wild bitch), as the people of Naumburg smilingly call their streetcar, is also unique. Even in regular service, it runs exclusively with historic vehicles. The cars embody all vehicle types manufactured in the GDR and make the special charm of Naumburg literally tangible on "historic rails".
