Neustadt is a district of the rural municipality of Am Ohmberg in the Eichsfeld district of Thuringia.

Neustadt with the most beautiful and largest Angerlinde of the Eichsfeld is located on a hill, northwest of the Hasenburg. The village is a so-called street village and is characterized by its clear arrangement of the buildings, which points to the original meaning as a fortification. The village center still reveals two parallel streets with a central open space, on which, among other things, the church and the municipal building were built.

The village image is characterized by the Angerlinde standing in the center and the surrounding well-kept half-timbered houses. Some sights and monuments testify to the Christian faith of the inhabitants. From Neustadt 2 km away, there is the settlement Neubleicherode with a former potash shaft, which was shut down. Due to the proximity to the Ohm Mountains, which border the district to the west, as well as to the Hasenburg, extensive hikes with beautiful views of the near and far surroundings are possible.
