Norman House
Norman House
The imposing Normannenhaus sits enthroned in the center of Jena. The building resembles Romanesque church buildings with crenellated eaves, rose windows and arched windows and wrought iron fittings.
The Normannenhaus is a listed historic building, originally designed by Georg Ludwig Freed as a fraternity house and inaugurated in 1898.
After numerous renovations and an eventful history as a fraternity house, kindergarten and rehearsal venue for the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, among other things, the neo-Romanesque villa not far from the Jentower is now a venue for conferences, celebrations and cultural events.
Conference capacity: < 200 people - 30- 100m² - 4 rooms
