Obstfelderschmiede is a district of Mellenbach-Glasbach and belongs to the rural municipality of Schwarzatal. The valley station of the Oberweißbach mountain railroad is located here. Here you can change from the Schwarztalbahn to the cable car. There is a kiosk at the station. A beautiful wooden bridge leads over the Schwarza to the nearby parking lot.
