The park at the former combined heat and power plant is located between the Geraaue and Kilianipark and thus forms the penultimate section of the green park band between Erfurt city center and Gispersleben.

The area was redesigned into a hilly meadow landscape with an abundance of playgrounds for young and old in the course of the Federal Garden Show 2021.

In addition to the usual playground elements, barrier-free elements have been installed here at various corners, which are available to all children without exception. In addition, adults also have the opportunity to let off steam in the outdoor fitness course. Those who prefer to use the facility for recreation are also welcome to do so.
