Partschefeld
Partschefeld
The tranquil little hilltop village (350 m above sea level, 101 inhabitants), situated between the Saale valley to the south and the Hexengrund to the north, was first mentioned in a document in 1378 as Parschefal.
In a quiet location, families in particular can spend an eventful vacation on the farm here. There are 27 beds available in a vacation camp for school classes and clubs from May to September. A cozy inn invites hikers and tourists to linger. Located not far from Mötzelbach, the village has a similar idyllic atmosphere. The central location to the surrounding excursion destinations and the extensive landscape offer numerous hiking opportunities. In addition to several half-timbered houses, the extensively renovated church, a stone cross and a historic windmill, which has been repaired and reinstalled near the community hall, are worth seeing.
