The Am Vogelherg vacation apartments are located near the town of Schleiz, not far from the Thuringian Sea. You drive through a picturesque landscape. Behind a large mountain, between the Saale and Wisenta rivers, you will discover a small village - Dörflas. Here, at the foot of the Vogelherd, there is a guesthouse with two vacation apartments on a former manor. Both vacation apartments were newly renovated in 2014 and lovingly furnished. Natural materials such as clay, cork and lots of wood ensure a good indoor climate. The apartments are located on the first floor with a view of a large orchard and old fruit trees that invite you to snack. The garden is available for playing, relaxing, barbecuing etc. There is a seating area in the large courtyard with a view of the pond and a small sandpit. The terrace in the garden also invites you to linger outside. Ideal starting point for all activities such as hiking, swimming, Nordic walking... Bicycle rental, horseback riding, boat trips and canoeing/kayaking are also possible in the immediate vicinity. The highway A9 is reachable in 8 km, the next supermarket in 5 km.
