Welcome to our traditional house built in 1710. Franz Ferdinand Greiner, who is considered the founder of the German glass industry, lived and worked here. Since 1876 there has been an inn on the first floor. In 1992, the entire building was converted into a guesthouse and now welcomes guests as the „Am Park“ guesthouse and inn. Here you can enjoy peace and relaxation. For active vacationers, it is the ideal starting point for many activities in the Thuringian Forest. The Rennsteig is right on the doorstep. In the immediate vicinity you will find hiking and winter hiking trails as well as the Ilmtal cycle path. Bikers can also park their bikes in our garage. We also have a charging station for e-bikes. Stützerbach has a bike rental station with workshop. You can also reach our child-friendly hotel by bus and train. The hotel's own shuttle will pick you up from the train station on request or take you to the ski slopes, for example. We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel soon.
