The neo-Gothic town hall on the fish market was built between 1870 and 1874. The origins of the building date back to the 11th century. Numerous murals depict legends and scenes from the life of Luther. Pictures of Erfurt's history can be seen in the ballroom. Concerts are regularly held here. The town hall can also be visited as part of a guided tour.
