Town hall Schloßvippach
Town hall Schloßvippach
Unfortunately, the exact age of the town hall building in Schloßvippach (the old tavern) is not known. What is known, however, is that the tavern became the property of the municipality in 1667.
In 1840, the tavern was demolished due to dilapidation and rebuilt the following year. In 1868, a new tower clock with four strikes was purchased for the town hall building.
Shortly before 1900, further conversion and renovation work was carried out. The large ballroom was also built in this context. Three other buildings had to be demolished to create enough space for this new building.
The town hall building houses the offices of the mayor, the VG chairman and the contact area officer, as well as the municipality's wedding room and the restaurant.
