Renshausen
Renshausen is a small community in the district of Göttingen in southern Lower Saxony. The town is located in the cultural landscape of Untereichsfeld. Geographically, the town is part of the Golden Mark landscape. To the north, west and south, the village is surrounded by wooded hills of up to 250 meters. Renshausen includes the district of Thiershausen, two kilometers to the north, with the Thiershäuser Teiche recreation and nature reserve.
The central basin landscape of the Goldene Mark is a gently undulating terrain with fertile lowlands. The extensive network of cycle paths in the region is therefore ideal for cycling tours with children. Excursion destinations that are easy to reach from Renshausen include Seeburger See, the Seeanger and Lutteranger nature reserves and Gieboldehausen.
