The Jagdschloss restaurant in the Possen leisure and recreation park near Sondershausen invites its guests to enjoy traditional cuisine, often using regional ingredients. Game dishes and classic Thuringian dumplings are particularly popular - in keeping with the historical use of the ensemble. From around the 17th century, the Schwarzburg-Sondershausen princely family came to the Possen to hunt. Today, it is not only the cozy restaurant that attracts visitors, but also a large beer garden and other snack options on the Possen in the warmer months.

In the former princely hunting lodge, guests can now not only dine in a historic ambience, but also celebrate in large groups. The Ringcafé, the former princely riding hall, offers space for around 200 people, as well as an extra buffet room and a large dance floor. The circular design also provides good conditions for business meetings and conferences.

The leisure and recreation park's wide range of activities, which are fully geared towards families, provide the perfect supporting program. On the Possen, which is surrounded by meadows and beech forests, there is an animal enclosure with a petting zoo, a huge bouncy cushion landscape, a high ropes course and children's climbing garden as well as an indoor and adventure playground.
