A place to linger and observe and experience the diverse plant and animal kingdom of the Rhön. Paved paths lead through the gorge, along a watercourse at the densely vegetated foot of the Auersberg. If you keep your eyes open, you can spot a variety of birds and even encounter the odd small forest dweller.

The circular hiking trail number 4 and the lovingly prepared bird trail, which celebrated its redesign in 2022, also lead through the Ritterschlucht gorge.
