In winter the Toboggan slope at Crux in the tranquil Suhl district Vesser very popular with parents and children alike. With the Lift The route leads comfortably up to the downhill slope for children and beginners, which is located nearby. The approx. 200 m long route covers a height difference of approx. 50 meters - so good speeds are guaranteed.

Great: If you don't bring a sledge, you don't have to miss out on tobogganing. In the Vesser Tourist Office a vehicle can be rented.

Coming from Schmiedefeld a.R., the toboggan slope is located just after the entrance to the village on the right, right next to the ski lift - in the middle of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Thuringian Forestone of the most beautiful valleys in Germany.

Tip:

For the physical well-being provides a small Snack bar on the slope. For those with a bigger appetite after a toboggan run, we recommend the Forest inn "Zur Vesser" or the Inn "Deutsches Haus" with excellent Thuringian cuisine. Important: Book in advance!
