From the parking lot on the country road (120 cleared parking spaces) from Oberhof in the direction of Schmücke, it is approx. 1.2 km on foot directly to the Schneekopf summit (978 m). An impressive panoramic view is well worth the walk!

The leveled toboggan run is suitable for children and adults alike and leads from the summit on the sunny side to the area below the New Gehlberger hut.

Daily from 10.00 - 16.00 hrs the observation tower awaits its visitors.
