The winter sports region on the Rennsteig invites you to go winter hiking, cross-country skiing and tobogganing. The small toboggan hill in the middle of Finsterbergen is ideal for a slippery winter break.

Sledding starts at the parking lot at the Ferienhotel Rennsteig-Blick on the Finsterberg. The toboggan has to be pulled uphill the 20 meters in altitude, but with its small ski jump descent, the toboggan slope, with a great view of the entire village, is a fast-paced special feature of Finsterbergen.
