The 43 m high Saale Tower with its 192 steps and three viewing platforms is picturesquely situated at the foot of the Saale and not far from the Bleilochtalsperre, Germany's largest reservoir. With a panoramic view of 32 km, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Thuringian Slate Mountains region and the Upper Saale.

From April to October, a small snack bar invites you to linger. There are also public toilets, parking spaces for 130 vehicles and a motorhome parking area for 10 caravans.
