This striking natural monument is located right next to the Rennsteig trail at the parking lot and snack bar by the Glasbach stream. The Knife and Pipe Trail, which connects Bad Liebenstein and Ruhla, crosses alongside the striking tree. Hikers pass here along the Luther circular hiking trail, the Luther Trail and also on the way to the Dreiherrnstein.
