The castle complex of Bedheim, which has existed since the Middle Ages, lies in the rolling hills of southern Thuringia. It has seen many changes in its long history. As a closed estate complex from the Baroque it is unique in Thuringia. The castle has been family-owned since the 18th century.

Today, Bedheim Castle and the surrounding area are being further developed by the castle owner and with the support of many helping hands. The aim is to create the conditions for communal living and working in the countryside.
