Construction of the castle, located in the Querfurt district of Lodersleben, began in 1740. It was not completed until the 18th century. The historian Leopold von Ranke is said to have stayed there frequently. The castle grounds include a park of about five hectares, which has centuries-old trees and invites you to take a walk. Even today, one can still reside in a princely manner in Lodersleben Castle. Since the extensive renovation, a guesthouse has been operated there.
