Unique sculpture show with exhibits made of pure chocolate and nougat

Since September 2022, visitors to the Nougat World in Schmalkalden have been able to marvel at a "sweet" additional exhibition entitled '' Nature Loves Culture ''. To mark the 10th anniversary of the Wartburg Hainich World Heritage Region, the sculpture show presents hand-carved exhibits made from the finest nougat and fine chocolate, taking up typical landmarks of the region. Visitors can marvel at delicate chocolate showpieces such as the Wartburg or a lifelike replica of an owl as a symbol of the Hainich National Park on the upper floor.

 There seems to be nothing that the confectioners in the Viba Nougat World can't conjure up from nougat and chocolate. If necessary, add some marzipan or other sweet additions and the unique chocolate works of art are ready. The level of detail in the carvings is particularly impressive. The chocolate sculptures were carved and painted from solid blocks into true works of art with a lot of time and love according to our own designs and in elaborate work steps. Each of the seven works of art weighs around 25 kg and is approximately 45 cm high. 

The additional exhibition is complemented by the adventure exhibition of the Hainich National Park. Interactive themed islands and a cinema area offer play and climbing opportunities for young and old, as well as lots of interesting facts about the Wartburg Hainich World Heritage region.
