Schulze organ in the Coudray church
Schulze organ in the Coudray church
The early romantic organ was built in 1827 by Johann Friedrich Schulze from Paulinzella in collaboration with the Weimar professor Johann Gottlob Töpfer.
It is to be systematically restored to its historical state in order to achieve sustainable development of this important cultural monument.
Like the church, the neoclassical organ façade was designed by Clemens Wenzeslaus Coudray, the Duke of Weimar's senior building director and friend of Goethe.
