High forests covered in deep snow and white snow-covered valleys: glide seemingly silently through the woods and the vastness of nature ... In the idyllic Siegmundsburg district of Neuhaus am Rennweg you will find well-groomed ski trails and the "Dürre Fichte" ski center.

And winter doesn't even have to be freezing cold here, sliding down the mountain on such hot tires! The snow tubing facility provides this fast-paced experience. On a separate track with a drag lift, you are pulled uphill on tractor-sized tires (tubes). The almost 300-metre-long descent, during which the tube continuously turns on its own axis, is of course also great fun for adults. That's why the slope is sometimes floodlit at the weekend until 10 pm. (Yes, there is even a summer operation!)

The north slope in the "Dürre Fichte" ski center offers fantastic slopes, ideal for families and winter sports enthusiasts who don't prefer the black slopes. The ski lift located there covers a difference in altitude of 40 meters over 350 drag meters to the mountain station. There is also a portable children's lift, ski rental and a ski school.
