Between 1999 and 2000, the outdoor pool was renovated at a cost of DM 2.3 million. In the process, it received a competition-size stainless steel pool and a non-swimmers' pool with 160 m² of water surface, aerators and splash showers.

The large number of shaded places, a modern sanitary facility, changing rooms, a volleyball facility, table tennis tables as well as a spacious playground and the kiosk all contribute a bit to the quality of life in Theißen.
Located in the beautiful Zeitz district of Theißen, the outdoor pool invites young and old, singles and families to swim and relax during the warm season.

Basketball and volleyball court as well as table tennis tables invite you to linger next to the swimming and paddling pool. The right catering is also provided at any time thanks to the snack bar with outdoor seating.

If a break is needed after sports, games and fun, it is worth relaxing on the large lawn.
Of course, the Theissen outdoor pool is equipped barrier-free, so that no one is excluded from the summer bathing fun.
