The summer toboggan run on the Inselsberg in the Thuringian Forest between Tabarz and Brotterode is certainly familiar to some. In the stainless steel channel with 12 steep bends, tobogganists can hurtle down into the valley at speeds of up to 40 km/h. There is also a way back to the mountain station 65 m higher up. Guests can remain comfortably seated on the toboggan while they are pulled up by the automatic lift system.
