Spichra, first mentioned in a document in 1393 as "Spicher", has experienced historical ups and downs; joys, burdens, wars and destruction. But the romantic surroundings - the Werra Valley -, the forests and nature also left their mark on the people. Today, Spichra is a small, idyllic "Spicher", which is home to young and old.
