The sports facility is an open sports facility. It is mainly used for sports lessons and for project days for schools, kindergartens and school camps.
Club sports are well represented in the afternoon. The artificial turf is particularly popular with young footballers.
Furthermore, children and young people who are not organized in the club as well as families can also use the leisure facilities offered at the sports complex.

The sports facility has:
- an artificial turf pitch with floodlights
- a small playing field for basketball, handball, tennis
- a beach volleyball court
- a long jump facility
- 75 m running tracks
- Shot put
- a functional building with sanitary facilities

If there is enough snow, a practice trail is freely accessible for cross-country skiers.
