The church, built on a high point in the village and surrounded by the cemetery with its old wall, is a uniform, stately rococo building. Nothing is known about the old church, a wooden church on the same site. The year of construction 1752 of the present church is written above the ornate west portal and also in code above the south door. The tower stands on the west side of the church and forms an entrance hall to the main hall. It is crowned with a tail dome and lantern. The main decoration of the exterior is the large, richly decorated coat of arms stones above the doors leading to the lords' seats.

The main room is a rectangular gallery hall with strongly sloping corners around the altar side. The ornamental feature of the church is the high columned wall behind the altar, from which the pulpit arches out like a balcony.

The great attachment of the people of Berka to their church is reflected in their great efforts to restore the church. As a rococo church with a very extensive interior painting, the 250-year-old church is something special. In recent years, work has begun to restore the stability of the church. Now great efforts still need to be made to restore the interior painting.
